Children's Ministries Leadership Certification Course

You've already discovered our Children's Ministries Leadership Certification Course (CMLCC) is a free downloadable resource available in the PAOC Ministry Toolbox. The curriculum is a treasure trove of insights, broken down into 12 powerful modules with 48 sessions in total. We recommend going through them in order, as each module builds on the last, kicking off your journey by focusing on you—the leader—and the children you're called to serve.

CMLCC Equipping Resources Hub

We know how much information is out there. That's why we’ve created this Equipping Resources Hub—a single, trusted source for everything you need. This hub is organized, easy to navigate, and full of practical, effective, and even fun content complied by our District CFM Specialists. We will make sure to give you the websites of our PAOC Districts so you can find all the Children's and Family Ministries have to offer and for customized leadership resources specific to your area in Canada.

In the "Hub" you'll discover a wealth of helpful resources, including links to videos, podcasts, and books that have been vetted by children's ministry leaders. These will be valuable even after you complete the course. Additionally, some sessions include downloadable worksheets to help you along the way. Even when you're finished the course, you will want to come back and see what and see what's new!

You have two awesome options to complete this course:

A. Self-Paced

Download the entire CMLC course and work through it at your own pace. You're in the driver's seat, so feel free to spend extra time on the topics that matter most to you. While this path doesn't come with a certificate, the knowledge and spiritual insights you gain will be your ultimate reward, helping you live out your calling with purpose and passion.

B. Mentorship Cohort

Want a Certificate of Completion and a built-in support system? Join a district led Mentorship Cohort! You'll be connected with a PAOC District CFM Specialist in your province or territory, who will guide you and a small group of other leaders through the course. You'll discuss activities, share insights, and build relationships that will last long after the cohort is over. Mentors will be your biggest cheerleaders, helping you achieve your certificate of completion!

Whether you've decided to do a self-study or are connecting with others in a district led Mentorship Cohort to work toward a certificate, you are in the driver's seat of your learning. Our goal is to equip you with the best tools, training, and knowledge to help you succeed in your role and serve with excellence. We are always adding new, tried-and-true methods and the newest tools to help you build and sustain a thriving children's ministry.
