Welcome to the Equipping Resource Hub for the Children's Ministries Leadership Certification Course - Semester One!
The Children's Ministries Leadership Certification Course (CMLCC) is designed for those involved in ministry to the next generation who have had little or no formal training in the area of children's ministries. Seasoned practitioners representing a variety of churches and ministries across Canada have written the course especially for you, sharing a wealth of experience, information, biblical truths and helpful tips that will expand your thinking and sharpen your skills.
Empowerment and Equipping
You're in the driver's seat for how you'll use this course. Whether you've decided to do a self-study or are connecting with others in a Mentorship Cohort to work toward a certificate of completion, we want to equip you. Our goal is to provide the tools, training, and knowledge you need to perform your role and serve with excellence.
Practical Resources
The PAOC District Children’s and Family Ministry Specialists (CFM Specialists) are committed to providing you with high-quality resources. Drawing from years of experience, they have compiled a list of practical, belief-aligned materials related to the CMLC Course and are actively developing new resources for your use. We believe these tools will be a valuable complement to your learning, empower your teams, and support your continued investment in the children you serve.
The "Hub" Model
We know how much information is out there. That's why we want to provide a single, trusted source for what you need to have a thriving children's ministry. You'll find our hub organized and easy to navigate. We'll also continue to add resources to help equip you with tried-and-true methods and the newest tools.
Thank you for your investment in raising up Bible-based, Spirit-filled disciples of Christ.
Frequently Asked Questions
Mentoring Track Sponsor

Mission Canada is the PAOC's national mission agency that reaches Canada with the gospel in unique ways. There are many contexts where there is a gap; where Jesus is inadequately represented. The five gaps we focus on are:
- Canada’s next generation—children, youth and post-secondary campus students
- The people of Quebec and Francophones in other provinces
- Cultural Language Groups (Newcomers to Canada)
- Indigenous Peoples of Canada—First Nations, Métis and Inuit
- Those who live in Canada’s growing urban centres
Mission Canada is committed to identify and equip those who will pursue their calling to fill these voids.
